Is Sprain my new favorite band? Yes. Yes, they are.
Just my luck they don't exist anymore.
Sprains first release is derivative to say the least. A slowcore EP inspired by bands like Low, this is a very rudamentary and simple EP. You got your drums, two guitars, and a subtle bass. However, this doesn't mean that the band's incredible songwriting and ability to cultivate a mood is anything short of amazing.
