It isn't bad and I can see how his modern work was built off of this.
I would say this album is very average compared to his other works. It can be seen though that all his future projects were derived off of this album and so you have to enjoy his beginnings rather than hate it because his newer work may be better. If you want to try his raw old albums I recommend giving this a try.
