The result is a duller Drizzy – his rhymes lack his usual wit and flair. The dude seems defensive – unnecessarily, and to the detriment of his music.
a 66 user score is abysmal. (i refuse to type the other number.) this is probably one of his most iconic songs to date. as of…5 days prior to this review, that’s really not saying much…
The most misunderstood song ever. The song is actually an anthem to the struggling ones at the "bottom". Drake further pushes this narrative on literally next track on the album - "Wu-Tang Forever" where he says: "I find peace knowing that it's harder in the streets, I know, Luckily I didn't have to grow there, I would only go there 'cause ni**as that I know there". And other than that, it's a banger, don't lie.
