At it's best moments it is some really good groove oriented Hardcore with some trippy aspects. At it's worst it's slightly cringe mixtape level rapping. Did we really need "this is rock music motherfucker." At its core UnityTX is in it's best form when it elevates POD level NuMetal hardcore to something that is very accessible but still beatdown. The best example of this is Piece of Mind.

This has promise in it's ideas but the execution just isn't quite there. Combining hip hop and metal is not at all a new idea, but with this style of hardcore instrumentals there's a lot that could be done that hasn't been done before, and while they did some of that, it feels like they stopped trying after getting a couple good ideas down and then just padded out the rest with filler.
