Evoking feelings of longing and desolation without soaking the tracks in sadness, Thys and Amon Tobin deliver us one of the best ambient eps of the year. The levels of emotion are well restrained and the strangeness of it all assures a certain distance between the listener and the piece. Its very spectral and grandiose whilst being familiar and intimate.
