Mozzy is another one of those artists that I've heard so much about but I can't actually think of anything he's done. However, I seen this album getting a bit of hype so I had to check it out!
First of all, Mozzy has a voice made for rapping. He sounds like Ja Rule mixed with Busta Ryhmes or something to that affect. That rugged, punchy voice gives a certain type of gritty characterization to the ... read more
Mozzy definitely puts his all into writing his verses. They're very personal and I love that about his music. The thing I don't like about Mozzy is that he rarely ever changes his flow and it starts to get repetitive and every song begins sounding the same. It'd be hard for me to give any of his projects a higher score than this in the future because of this.

Favorite tracks: So Lonely, Overcame
Least favorite: Can't Let You Go
While Mozzy’s unorthodox semi-melodic/off-tune delivery may throw off first-time listeners, the hard hitting, bouncy, west coast production along with some stellar features is more than enough to keep listeners interested as he inevitably wins them over by the end, if not after the first few bangers. This completely surpassed my expectations, I’m very excited to check out this new album from him now. Best Tracks: Body Count, Pricetag, I Ain’t Perfect, and So Lonely
Best song= I ain’t perfect
First thoughts - Very solid Mozzy project. Leaning into that Cali sound and some catchy hooks, also all solid content, maybe one of his best.
