Mozzy’s strengths are YG’s weaknesses and vice-versa, which is the making of an ideal collaboration. There is an iron-clad authenticity to every note and word on the album.

While it might not be ground-breaking, it's still a great collection of boisterous, summer-ready bangers that sound their best in a car, with the windows down and the bass cranked all the way up.

Although Kommunity Service is short, it still shows versatility by approaching various styles track to track.

The team-up between two West Coast rappers suggests an inspired combination, but it pays off only in intermittent bursts.

Inconsistent but Mozzy almost lights a Fire in YG.

This album is a 2 sided Coin. On on Side we have classic West Coast Bangers like the opening Wanksta Interpolation which continues YG's tendency to Start off Album's with a Bang. Dangerous & Bompton to Oak Park also help start this Collab on Fire.

Honestly I kept jokingly said this would be AOTY leading up to release because stanning YG is really funny, but I'm satisfied with this project. Not AOTY obv, but definitely YG's best work since Still Brazy. Mozzy's good too, but god why did you try singing on the first line of Bite Down's hook it sounds so bad

YG sounds genuinely motivated, Mozzy does his thing, the features are generally pretty solid (I liked an A Boogie hook which I am VERY surprised about) except like Tyga, but are we ... read more

Maybe my expectations have just plummeted from the string of albums between this and Still Brazy, but this might be YG’s best project since then. It could be that Mozzy is just forcing better output from YG, though.

The first four songs are actually decently solid to me, even if they’re nothing crazy special. The Wanksta interpolation on the opening track threw me off at first, but it quickly won me over. The following three tracks hold the momentum of fun bangers.

Once it hits ... read more

Mozzy is such an underrated artist and the way he carries YG throughout the whole album proves my point.

Best: First 48, Gangsta, Bompton to Oak Wood

Worst: Toot it Up, Bite Down, Dangerous
