I think I can now confidently say this is my favorite album of theirs. I’ve gone back and forth on this and The Low End Theory ever since high school and have different reasons as to why I love each so much. I think what this one has over TLET is that every track on here is iconic in its own way, and has its own unique identity.
It’s the same reason BROCKHAMPTON’s ROADRUNNER is my favorite album of theirs. It’s them trying out many different sounds and nailing every ... read more
Denzel is my favorite artist so it is so hard for him to disappoint me, but this just ain’t it. I haven’t listened to this since it came out, and I’ve avoided it since because I knew it wouldn’t do anything for me.
The beat selection is so odd. Denzel sounds great, but the beats don’t fit him at ALL. He feels like an echo against them, like the two were just kinda spliced together haphazardly. The features don’t even really do much for me either.

I’ve fallen out of the loop with Earl’s albums and haven’t really listened to him in well over five years. I’ve kept up with the releases, but none have ever really grabbed my attention. Even then, I haven’t listened to either of those in some time.

Maybe my expectations have just plummeted from the string of albums between this and Still Brazy, but this might be YG’s best project since then. It could be that Mozzy is just forcing better output from YG, though.
The first four songs are actually decently solid to me, even if they’re nothing crazy special. The Wanksta interpolation on the opening track threw me off at first, but it quickly won me over. The following three tracks hold the momentum of fun bangers.

Solid jev. project and finally got me into his first LONERWRLD album as well. MEGATRON. and GOD, MY BIG HOMIE. are a new sound for him that I absolutely LOVE hearing him on. MEGATRON has got that 2010s club feel, and GOD, MY BIG HOMIE is just an incredibly fun and polished track. ANNIE and I LOVE YOU, jev are some other standouts. Only complaint is that it’s such a short project. It’s one of my least favorite trends in modern music when a small album of 2 minute tracks is released.
