Although the influence and comparison to King Crimson is apparent, Anekdoten does manage to make their sound their own with more influence from the rising Progressive Metal scene to create one of the more underappreciated gems of the 90's Progressive Rock era.

I somehow discovered this on someone's jazz fusion list. Not sure what they thought they were listening to, but this definitely isn't jazz fusion. I wasn't planning on listening to something this heavy, but I'm not mad at it.
