The Hirsch Effekt have the enviable talent of being able to be incredibly daring, fearless and innovative whilst not pushing the envelope too far that they become a victim of their own proficiency.
Full of surprises but still seemingly — almost voluntarily — in a state of evolutionary flux, The Hirsch Effekt are still one of the most distinctive bands around and "KOLLAPS" is their most fascinating work to date.
Looks like I missed this album from 2020. Impressive overall and it managed to capture my attention throughout the whole experience.
This is a pretty interesting album. I liked it for the most part, it had that post-hardcore kind of feel but more chill.
It was intrigued throughout the whole album. The mix between art rock elements and mathcore/post-hardcore is really nice, almost reminiscent of At the Drive-In, and sometimes that leads their sound to be kind of derivative.
