Another really short EP from Code Orange. Cycles may not even reach the ten minute mark, but it certainly feels longer. While the previous EPs I've heard from the band have left me with nothing but excitement, Cycles left me bored out of my mind, and wondering when it was going to end.

One of hardcore's sweet, hidden gems. Code Orange Kids had this very strong Converge type of metalcore to them before they transitioned into Code Orange. These earlier releases don't get talked about all that much, but to my brain and to my heart, these releases can be just as good, or sometimes, in certain moods, even better than the gnarly and legendary stuff Code Orange went on to do. This EP, Cycles, is a fine example of that.
