Guilty Simpson and Black Milk were actively putting out some of the best music in the underground around this time, so them being a duo would've had crazy potential in itself. But when that becomes a triumvirate with the inclusion of Sean Price, the amount of talent is nothing short of ridiculous. One of those albums you wish is better than it actually is. Not to say it's bad, it's actually really unique in it's ensemble of artists and style. While songs like Random Call, Black Ops, Everybody Nobody Somebody, Janphy Joe, Never Back Down and Another One do plenty to inspire, the rest struggles to keep up with that same pace of quality. Still a must-listen for any backpacker, boom bapper, or Detroit stan with 40ish minutes to spare.

nothing revolutionary, but just two underground rap icons who wage a war to know who is the best on rough productions with aggressive drums.. we like!
