It's not an essential purchase but a good example of Dave Brubeck's music.

Pretty great album. Cable Car is such a uniquely executed concept and Iberia is always a fun listen. Elementals is very long for some reason (it's the theme song for some media? idk). Points taken off for Elementals.

I think this is as good as his last charting album Take Five. There might not be a hit on here like 'Take Five' but there's enough jazz ideas on 'Elementals' to fill the belly of a hungry jazz connoisseur.
