I have very mixed feeling about this one. It's definitely a step away into a more catchy direction, which, in Architects' view could not be done without a softening of a beefy, punchy sound UK band always was able to create.

Don't get me wrong – the opening riff and the breakdown sounds amazing, such as production on Animals. Also, ambience, created by multi-layered heavily-reverbed guitars, especially during the outro and choruses, is a gorgeous touch.

God please, no! Do not go in this direction!
They wanted to go a little bit more mainstream and effortless, but they did it smartly. That ambient guitar of the end was fucking good, and Sam's vocals good overall.

Rammstein riffs and Slipknot percussions what the heck
I appreciate them trying more things and while it has its catchy qualities and Sam sounds good. They’re taking a lot from BMTH here for better or worse. I hope they continue to go farther into this new route for them. Interested to see what the rest of the album will sound.
Rock is very much not in my normal wheelhouse, but I'm gonna try to expand my tastes a bit, because when done well, rock generally hits for me in a way that most genres can't. But again, this is generally not my genre, so take this and all my other comments about rock music in the future with a grain of salt. that being said, I think this is pretty decent for what it is.
