Getter's NAPALM suffers from what I consider the "COVID-music syndrome" where at artist feels the need to release any music during the pandemic to feel so sort of accomplishment. Often, music that suffers from this syndrome are rushed, lacking in length, lacking in overall creativity, and are just a tad different than what a producer normal producers. These sorts of projects aren't bad, but they aren't really good either. Just there.

Napalm is basically Some Creature EP's sibling, they feel very similar while listening to them and there's a decent chance they were made with the same mindset. I really didn't like this ep when I first heard it though and despite having a refreshed view of it now, I'm still struggling to find myself really captivated by the project.

It was a pleasant surprise to hear Getter return to some of his dubstep roots on NAPALM. It’s a pretty cool EP with a ton of original styles and sounds, especially for dubstep. The fusion of dark trap and dubstep is a real specialty of Getter’s and he proves that very well on this EP. It’s really just a fun little mixtape with nothing too significant or insignificant about it.
