This album starts off strong and then it plummets hard. I think the biggest issue I have with the album is that it's just too repetitive. At first the two songs were neat, then it just keeps repeating the same lyrics. Over and over. Once you think it's finally going with new lyrics, the song begins to now repeat THOSE lyrics. The great tropical instruments this album carries can't save the really stale lyrics, unfortunately.
Catbite’s debut EP still carries the joyous fundamentals of their most recent work, but its production and pacing are both underdeveloped in comparison.
