Being newly wed to a beautiful Hollywood actress must not be as tough as we all imagine, given the giddiness and domestic bliss that pervade Brad Paisley’s third album, Mud on the Tires.
On the surface, Mud on the Tires is a fine, satisfying listen, but to truly live up to the mantle that's been bestowed upon him, Paisley had better start adding substance to his admittedly fetching style.
We All Be Hittin' Dat Spaghetti Western Swing😈
Best track. Whiskey lullaby
Worst track. Make a mistake
I listened to this album because of JPEGmafia and im not entirely happy with that choice
Similar to Paisley's last album, he ends it on a sour note after a strong beginning. Further propelling this release along is his best song, hands down, "Whiskey Lullaby". Without that song, I'm sure this record would have been much harder to get through than it already was, but luckily, it made it easier to digest.
Paisley slips into contentment here on record three, and it's unfortunate, because it becomes quite boring outside of his mostly strong singles.
