I find myself enjoying the earlier twee pop releases much more than the artists who were a lot more established and comfortable in their sound that came later. I see a lot more emotion in earlier Twee Pop releases that start to differ from the late 80s early 90s jangle pop that was becoming very stale but not so much to where we saw twee releases start to get super poppy in the late 90s.
