Let go is pleasant track, still love her voice. It begins rather unassuming but blooms very nicely, beautiful vocals and punchy drums. The string elements are a nice touch. Solid tune.
Obsessed has a nice groove to it, really fun extra sounds and percussion. The chorus is solid as well. She sounds great over these types of bass guitar driven tracks. I've been a fan of LAUREL since 2015, and I have to admit I prefer the more guitar-based, lo-fi sounds of her earlier recordings. Dogviolet was my #1 album of 2018. I kinda miss the real drums and the more soulful arrangements. But her voice is like magic, and she's such a gifted songwriter that she can pretty much do whatever she wants and it'll sound good to me.
