I can't really tell how I feel about this album on first listen. I really like the production style, it gives a very very unique sound to the album especially with the guitar solos, but the songwriting felt a bit underwhelming? I don't really know why, but they often seem to meander on a bit to me without much reason, and it causes the album to feel a bit lost without much aggression to keep the songs feeling fresh

If you told me a year or two ago one of my favourite songs was gonna be the first track off a Soviet Thrash metal album I might’ve called you insane. This album is just so cool, in so many ways.
