Given its title, it perhaps shouldn't come as a surprise that Interiors is an introspective collection, but its tempered sound is somewhat of a shock when considering the grunge background of the entire band.

Returning to this after many years and two songs in I was thinking perhaps this was an unnecessarily mean rating...but then all the other songs were average or worse, except for the slightly mawkish but still somewhat emotionally resonant 'Some Never Come Home'.
The best you can say about Shawn Smith is he has a nice enough tone to that voice and most of the time he doesn't go as cheesy as you fear he might.

the first time i put this on i was really tired and i think this album gave me the greatest nap i could ever have. listen to this if you need a good night of rest
