I take pride in reviewing the most random crap possible, and here we go. This is my review of Antibalas’ self titled Afrobeat album from 2012. I know you’ve all being dying to hear my thoughts on this one.

The songs individually are funky, fun, light-hearted, enjoyable! The songs put together on an album? Boring, repetitive, the whole album begins to blend together. By the end of the album, I was kind of tuned out, but at the beginning, I was really enjoying myself! It does help ... read more

The rhythmic is so strong, and those percussions are so lively. The beginning's a bit slower, but when it takes off near the end, you just can't stop moving.

FAVORITE: Sáré Kon Kon

Really Cool texture and arrangements. The instrumentals are the focus with vocal experty filling a supporting role.
