I love her but I find this EP to be mediocre. The vocals and energy are definitely there, but the production and songwriting is lackluster at times.
A little bit lackluster, but Door and Blue Eyes are two fantastic songs that show two different sides of Eunbi's style. I think she has a lot of potential and will definitely release better stuff in the future.
IZ*ONE's leader and all-rounder Kwon EunBi becomes the first member of the group to make her full solo debut after the disbandment of the temporary group and overall it's quite a solid debut that shows her range and establishes her as apotent soloist, but it does leave me craving for a bit more.
The aptly titled intro 'OPEN' introduces us to the jazzy classical pop and electronic infused sound palette of the album that can be heard on the title track co-produced by EunBi herselff, 'Door'. ... read more
