Thalía did her best J.Lo impression and SUCCEEDED! Her first english album is a great R&B and urban record and even though it might be generic she pulled it off fantastically and did a good job. It has a lot of good songs, surprisingly the english language fits Thalía singing and overall it has stood the test of time (partially thanks to the dance tracks). This album stands as my favorite Thalía album.
Highlights: Baby, I'm in Love, Don't Look Back and Closer to You.
Here’s the thing: the songs on this album are GREAT, but Thalía is practically nowhere to be found on this album. Enlisting superstar songwriters and producers like Kara DioGuardi, Guy Roche, and Cory Rooney, Thalía sought out to break the American market during the Latin Pop Explosion.
