Eastern Wind, contrary to follow-up The Getaway, had a more acoustic sound. It's quite nice actually, although it's clear Chris in some songs really lifts from the vibes of other bands/artists who were big in the late 70s. You can spot influences from Rod Stewart, The Police and Dire Straits for example. The album also lacks a clear standout, but as a whole is quite nice.
