The results are fun as hell, yet it’s hard not to feel like LV have accomplished something with some legs on it.

What they've so deftly achieved is providing the space for each MC to carve out their own story: They neither swamp nor leave them adrift. 

LV’s music – already an inclusive stew of dubstep, techno and grime – absorbs kwaito’s house/rap stylings without ever seeming tokenistic or pandering.

Sebenza is by no means the most conventional record you’ll hear this year, and certainly confirms LV as an act keen to push their sound to fascinating new locales.
