Desperate Measures is the first Leeway album, & I think it’s badass. Even though this album is crossover thrash & not really labled hardcore, it still has that New York hardcore energy. Eddie Sutton’s singing has that 80s heavy metal flare with the harmonies. Riffs galore as well. It overstays it’s welcome a little, a little lengthy, but it’s still really good.

Man, Leeway is such a great band. I wish I'd gotten into them sooner. Desperate Measures captures that classic New York sound that we all know and love, and does so in a way that might remind you of acts like Killing Time, Cro-Mags, and maybe even Merauder, but without sounding even remotely close to a rip-off of either of these acts.
