"Mike and Dave" are resident handymen who schlep from residence to residence in a Florida mixed-income project, glimpsing other people's lives while doing what they can to keep the same systems functioning for the rich and the broke alike.

Time & Materials defies normal conclusions; not a vanity project as it lacks ostentatiousness; conceptual but not in the traditional sense as comprehension requires announcement of the conceit.

Pretty solid, the brevity helps and I thought the abstract/experimental hip hop, while noticeable, wasn't done so abrasive and dissonant that you couldn't be bothered to try finishing the 25 minute run time.
You only have twice in life to find your one and only. My first didn't go so swell. OME found the Blowed, then Hellfyre, and both went belly-up. He has his own thing going on now. Geti found Anticon and never was affiliated again. Guess he's worried. Better make that next one count.
OME and Geti are two of my favorite emcees. They're two of a lot of people's favorite emcees. I have to imagine that pressure is why this project buckles in on itself.
