DevilDriver is a band I've always had somewhat of a soft spot for. Yes, I know, they're baby's first melodeath band and their discog in all honestly is pretty average, but when they're good, they're actually not just good but unironically amazing. This album would see DD distance themselves from their metalcore leanings for the most part (although there are metalcore songs on this, see Testimony of Truth and Trust No One), and enter the dreaded territory of butt metal.
