AWAY is one of those artists that I remember having a LOT of buzz back in 2017 with their big breakout single: Sleepwalker. Loved the track back then, and still love it today. That being said, I haven't really kept up with AWAY outside of that release so I was curious going into this release how much they had grown as an artist in the 5 years since Sleepwalker.

A beautiful project with some stunning vocals, an exploratory, emotional and distorted journey into storytelling with electronic driving beats. Blue [22] is an absolute favorite with it's emotional lyrics and gorgeous flowing drums. "If you saw me truly, would you hold on freely?"
A genuine 4-track favorite of mine from 2022.
My only gripe with this EP is Koda's lyrics seem a little surface-level writing for an AWAY track, and Koda's past music was much better written than this one. Still a good song, no problem at all, just had higher expectations for that one track.
