KOAN Sound proving yet again, why they're one of the most incredible musicians to ever grace the industry. The instrumentation is divine from start to finish, the atmosphere is stunning and full, the mix is perfect and the melodies are just truly captivating. Every track feels like the soundtrack to a movie.
Rebecca Black has genuinely delivered one of my top albums of the year, with a stunning demonstration of fun, exciting pop with punchy instrumentals, a cool, cyberpunky vibe at times, and intoxicating vocal melodies throughout. What a surprising and delightful album.
Stellar track with ridiculously good vocals and stank-face, gritty heavy riffs. Definitely a band worth keeping an eye on.
Shimmer by Superchromatic demonstrates a budding artist with huge ambition, inspiration and goals making their first foray into a full size project. While Shimmer's runtime breaches just over 22 minutes, the project keeps a smooth and concise vision of it's sound, with beautiful melodies, smooth processed vocals and lyrics that while basic in their complexity at times, deliver really punching metaphors and stories.
