PERSEFONE are masters, and metanoia sees them crafting some of their best work. It’s impossible not to be impressed with the magnitude of this album, and it’s sure to be among the year’s favourites for many.
Persefone, returns in 2022 with their progressive metal relades, metanoia, with sees them continue their death and symphonic center sound for some impressive moments such as Katabasis and Merkaboh but often their are times where the bands takes it too slow and often can be quite a slug to go through such as Leap of Faith or Anabasis Pt. 1 but as a whole the album offers some explosive moments, good riffs and technical display and overall a strong showcase from the band

Nice prog metal album with good collabs and nice instrumental tracks (a bit overhated on the rate track list) it's a pretty good album overall imo.
It's a roller coaster of excellence and mediocrity. Sublime songs like Katabasis, Merkabah, and the 9-minute instrumental Consciousness, Pt. 3 are combined with boring songs like Architecture or Anabasis 2. And so the whole record goes.
