So this record is like a dream collaboration for me. Perturbator being one of my favorite synthwave acts, and Cult of Luna (specifically guitarist/vocalist Johannes Persson) being one of my favorite bands of all time (especially in the atmosphere realm) makes this just so exciting for a record combining the two. Johannes Persson's esoteric lyrics and Perturbator's incredible sound design are an unexpected combination I didn't know I needed.
I initially had a hard time with the vocals, but they eventually grew on me and I've come to appreciate them.
What somewhat ruins this album for me is the length of the tracks and how similar they all sound.
