Jethro Tull explores new sounds on this album that don’t always mange to work or sound good

Jethro Tull's mediocrity phase continues. But I have to say that they improved a bit this time, the big use of synthesisers brings something new to the table, so they made the album a bit interesting for the first half. On the second half, the synthesisers aren't anything too special and in the end, they return to their generic sound of Stormwatch.
Yeah, the 80s trend of synthesiser use kind of saves the album. But first few tracks are pretty well written as well, I'll give the band that. ... read more
