I was a little nervous about this album from the first two songs, but man does it really PULL itself back up. (see what I did there). No but seriously, this album is great. It really scratches the itch of noisy shoegaze I've been yearning for recently. good raw and heavy philly shoegaze record. PULL doesn't mess around. lots of nice dynamics going from ethereal and floaty to absolutely bonecrushing. simply put, it is a likable and pretty straight up gaze record. nothing groundbreaking or needle moving, but still an enjoyable experience nonetheless. excited to see what SLIDE do next.
