Yeah as much as I like melodic dubstep and as much as I can enjoy the tracks on this album it's really generic and sell out-y, and its not varied or special enough for me to have a reason to track-by-track. The only really standout tracks are before dawn & second life, which are still two very basic techno tracks. I was actually somewhat looking forward to this knowing that when need be SLANDER could put out some fun stuff as “normal” as their style may be. They did not here.
I am a SLANDER defender but this album was really underwhelming when I first heard it. 'Replay', 'Monster' and of course 'Love is Gone' carry this album. 'Walk on Water' is tolerable but I think Dylan Matthew just has amazing vocals to carry a boring beat. Nothing more else to say except that it could've been better BUT it also could've been WAYYYYY worse.
