Popkill is, in my opinion, the quintessential epunk/incelcore artist. He perfectly represents what the genre is as a whole; dark subject matter, gritty instrumentals, over the top edginess, the whole package. This album really speaks to what his work is. It's an evolution in his sound. Let me be blunt; I was not a huge fan of his previous albums; they all sounded so barebones and soulless to me. it's very hard to look past the edgelord forced crudeness that comes with a lot of popkill's releases, and even if i can come around on some of it (chris chan is a pretty fun song to me), things like ronnie mcnutt and the whole album it was released with leave a bad taste in my mouth.

that said, this album leaves most of that aesthetic behind. it's a decent listen, but it's hard to look past all the other controversial shit. I really enjoyed the pacing too.
