Steakfry - Cave Paintings

Steakfry gotta be the second coming of Kurt Cobain, or in other words the third coming of Jesus.

Do you know how fucking livid it makes me that no one knows what this shit is? This is unironically one of the best albums I have ever heard in my entire life. It has changed me as a person, my perspective on my relationships, my perspective on music, my love life, it is one of the most impactful albums to me and not one person I know has listened to it. It's like being able to fly but you can ... read more

Eazy-E - It's On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa

I had my Eazy-E phase before he was cool.

Eazy-E, God rest his soul, is a strange ass case. he's simultaneously the most underrated and overrated rapper at the same time. On one hand, you got people who say he's just a play-act who can't rap and has all his songs ghost-written. On the other hand, recently, it seems everyone is glazing the shit out of him saying he's the best outta NWA and has flow and a voice better than most rappers today. Neither are true. I love Eazy; ... read more

Birdbath - the world is angry, absurd and filled with stardust

When I put mfs on to this shit, I ain't calling it incelcore. I'm either calling it epunk, because that name won't give me weird looks, or I'm calling it fire cause that's what it is.

Epunk isn't really talked about in the mainstream. Birdbath isn't really talked about in epunk. "The World Is Angry, Absurd, and Filled With Stardust," by the transitive property, isn't really talked about. That's an absolute shame because this album is a ... read more

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Willy and the Poor Boys

Creedence Clearwater Revival might genuinely be the most underappreciated band of all time. This is probably the greatest album I've ever heard made in the United States during the 1960s. Country has probably had the greatest mainstream fall off, because how the fuck do we go from shit like Lynrd Skynrd and Johnny Cash to Morgan Wallen and Post Malone? Anyway, this is, in my opinion, John Fogerty's Magnum Opus (also, forgive me cuz this is gonna have a pinch of bias; I'm ... read more

PopKill - Worn Out

Popkill is, in my opinion, the quintessential epunk/incelcore artist. He perfectly represents what the genre is as a whole; dark subject matter, gritty instrumentals, over the top edginess, the whole package. This album really speaks to what his work is. It's an evolution in his sound. Let me be blunt; I was not a huge fan of his previous albums; they all sounded so barebones and soulless to me. The instrumentals were off-putting (in a bad way) and the lyricism was just flat-out annoying. ... read more
