The debut ep from 5ifthave aka avery_backup is sweet and has some great moments, but ep is kinda too simple and feels unfinished.

While a really awesome concept for a record (especially from someone whose a huge Sega nerd) unfortunately I feel that Multi Digital falls flat on many areas.

The concept of the record is very cool I must admit. Being the leftover soundtrack of a cancelled dreamcast game. And I like how the cover art very much has that Dreamcast like vibe. Under the stage name Avery Lain, another one of AOTY's own kin throws their hat in the ring, sitting on the side of the creative rather than the critical. This being a short snacky EP, you can almost feel the nervous commitment in its structure. No idea exceeds an offensive run time, no particular sound agitates.
