'Pointless' is a regular Lewis Capaldi song but it has just the right amount of pretty elements to prevent it from being completely pointless, although as a single, it fails to get me excited for 'Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent'. The vocals from Lewis Capaldi are underwhelming as his voice sounds unpleasantly rough in the verses while his passionate, loud vocals on the chorus are fine and accomplish their goal of highlighting the lyrics from that section of the song.
