Pretty good follow-up to 400 Degreez, but like most Cash Money albums from that era, it’s really too long, and a couple of songs have aged like milk. Still, there are some absolute bangers, like “G Code.''
I don't love 400 Degreez, partially because I believe it would still take Mannie another 6 years to really enter his prime as a producer. And, maybe the more incendiary opinion, because a lot of 90s Cash Money production has aged like milk.
The approach is the same on Tha G-Code. The difference is, the creative songs are gone and the bounciness isn't the same. U Understand follows the same format as Ha, it's a good song, but doesn't compare. There's no Rich N****z ... read more
My 1000th review. I’m so happy. This isn’t as good as 400 Degreez because it feels a bit rushed but it’s still a solid follow-up from Juvie.
