Despite the clear influence of the act’s early days, Alföld is too steeped in its more modern repertoire to truly bring everything together. But that in itself doesn’t make it any less impressive.

Easily the least off-the-wall album in Thy Catafalque catalog, but still a worthy addition to an underrated discography.
What a great album, some of the vocals I'm not a huge fan of but instrumental its just a really great but also interesting album to listen to. 8/10
Possibly the least outright "experimental" album in the Thy Catafalque discography, but what it lacks in that regard it makes up in sheer heaviness and excellent lyricism. Still, the album's packed with an encapsulating atmosphere and just as many headbanging riffs as beautiful synth/violin solos
