A satisfying rager of an LP, but the songs don't have much distinction between each other. That method of songwriting didn't affect the earlier EPs much, but a little more variety would've been welcome on this one.
A very easy hardcore punk win was had with this release. SPY is one of the punkier hardcore bands that exists right now, and Satisfaction is a mandatory listen if you're even remotely into the genre.
From start to finish, Satisfaction is full of punky bangers, and the entire record is just 13 and a half minutes long. It's easy to just listen to this entire thing and enjoy every second of it. Triple B brings that basement show energy to the mix. It's hardcore to it's bones, but slithers into that extreme realm that feels slightly encrusted. It's that type of hardcore that shows up to the show unshaven, unwashed, and owing somebody $200. It's got that evil side to it.
