Darkher invokes a folkloric darkness as if a woman in the woods, a forest-dweller, one who has gained much wisdom, is seeking to become an unlikely guardian in an uncertain world, enshrouded in eeriness. She also presents herself maternally, with her mature voice and safeguarding lyrics. She sings of a savior to aid a child, but such approach of this savior is to be questioned, as she sings of a darkness that accompanies the salvation.
