Es tan raro como "Gris-Gris" pero mucho menos acertado. "Twilight Zone" es curiosa por que juega un poco con las reverberaciones (lo que me parece innovador para la epoca). "The Lonesome Guitar Strangler" tiene unos muy buenos acordes de guitarra, una pena que el tema no termine de cuajar. Destaco como mejor tema el blues-rock rasposo "Black Widow Spider".

Babylon is a protest album and Dr John’s sophomore album. On the album’s wikipedia page is mentions its rooted in many of the stuff happening in 68 more specifically “Tet offensive, and of the assassinations of Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr” and also his pressure as an LA session musician. His first record was literally a 10 for me so I’m pretty underwhelmed but there’s solid moments on here. Incomplete though
