This album is a very fun listen, I am very new to this genre of music but I have to say that it is a solid few songs that managed to capture the essences of bands I have listened to before like King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard as well as other electronic acts like LCD Soundsystem. As much of a fan as I am of prog and weird music in general, the more avant-garde side of the genre often fails to engage me. I appreciate crazy ideas and experimentation, but I kinda need something to latch onto, not just a completely chaotic mess of sounds. If you give me an album where every song is devoid of comprehensible structure and sounds more like a bunch of jazz musicians having a bad trip, I will probably find it difficult to engage with it.
