Similar to the previous album but even better. This is definitely more dynamic and just cooler idk. The best songs on this, which is most of the songs tbh, are actually pretty peak. From the beginning, i was surprised how much the songs slapped. However, a few tracks in the second half of this record pull the score down a little bit. Regardless, a very solid and really sick metalcore release.
This one took a minute back in the day for me to appreciate more because I enjoy its predecessor so much. Definitely was showing some growth.
The title track sets itself up nicely, fun little intro before bringing the heavy. I the Mike's vocals weren't in as rare form as they other on other records, he sounds more stripped down but not bad. Pretty straightforward heavy track, feels more calculated in its simplicity. this is what i wanted with Branches above and roots so below the riffs are nasty the growls are fucking amazing everything is fucking on point with this one its so fucking amazing the best TDWP album ive heard so far i wish they would have kept this sound a little longer but fucking amazing album needs to be studied why i hated there old shit before because THIS IS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE GREAT FUCKING ALBUM NO SKIPS 10/10
