"Plagues" is the definition of a Metalcore band's sophomore success, delivering a fantastic experience with the perfect amount of variety.
TDWP is a band that I've always liked, but I haven't got much into their OLD stuff until some time ago. Now I'm definitely going to review all of their albums since I've heard most of them and I love most of them. "Plagues" is definitely one of them, and I'd say it's one of the band's best ... read more

I'd say this album is better than Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord by a pretty wide margin. It still suffers from some of the problems Dear Love had, but some other problems have been resolved. While I've never been huge into MySpace metalcore, this feels somehow different, and I think TDWP have sort of managed to distinguish themselves from it. The clean vocals still are in the style I'm not a huge fan of with in this sort of metalcore, but it's nowhere near ... read more
Competently arranged but falls into a lot of cliches especially in its breakdowns that I tend to not love
