A very challenging album, winding its way through complex passages and hypnotic repetition but with moments of brilliant ingenuity throughout, and perhaps slightly more accessible than Part 1. Not necessarily the place to start with Don Cherry - that'd more likely be his self-titled, although to some degree it is difficult not to be thrown in at the deep end with him - but a compelling sequence of spiritual jazz all the same.
