Un buen disco y un disco valiente por parte de los thrashers británicos. Pasar de un thrash metal acelerado y salvaje a un groove oscuro, lento y fuertemente influenciado por el Black album de Metallica, ha sido un paso arriesgado que no ha sido aceptado por parte de la comunidad. Maybe 2 or 3 songs that were actually memorable to me, which is a shame to see since I loved "Hell Unleashed" enough for it to make my 2021 AOTY list. Here's hoping they rebound on the next LP.
Evile has shifted their style inmensly on this new album the unknown. It's like someone was like: "Hey! do you know what you should do? You should sound more like Metallica".
It's a heavy shift from their previous thrash metal sound to a more groove / heavy metal sound. There are still some tracks where you can find the Thrash metal influence such as Sleepless Eyes and Balance the Time but it's scarce.
Overall this album isn't bad but I am personally a bit disappointed to see them ... read more
